This is my island and these are my favorite persons, places, organizations and pictures. Explore & enjoy:

If you want to keep up with local news, visit www.PortClintonRadio.com. The area's first internet radio station. News, music, event information, weather, sports and special talk shows will keep ou up to date. The radio station that plays while you are doing your computer work. How cool.

Unique, artisan designed jewelry made on the island.
All pendants, bracelets and earrings are hand made by Sally and are original designs. Pieces include dichroic glass, Sterling silver, and Swarovski beads. Visit Sally's website for a sampling of these unique pieces. www.silvershorjewelry.etsy.com

Get to know Island birds. Visit the Kelleys Island Audubon website. Stop in to one of the monthly potlucks with speakers (3rd Thursday at 6 pm). Be sure to visit the island for Nest with the Birds in May, the Butterfly Festival/Treasure Island day and Feathers and Foliage in September. Scattered through the year are bird and owl bandings. www.KelleysIslandNature.com

Visit the Kelleys Island Historical Assoc. website for an
overview of the island's history. The Past is Prolog.... www.KelleysIslandHistorical.org

Got a question about the Islands? When I do, I go to www.LakeErieActivities.com. This site contains all the links you didn't know you needed including lake conditions, fishing reports, web cams, boating, history, environment, travel, videos, and a forum. More links are added daily.

A very cool place to look for books is the Ex Libris bookstore (and library!) in Marblehead, just east of the Kelleys Island ferry.
Not only can you donate books to this all volunteer organization,
but they sell some vintage and rare books at great prices. http://marpenlib.org/

If you are in Port Clinton, stop in the Book Exchange and recycle your books or just sit a while and browse through their extensive titles.  www.TheBookExchange.net

I support breast cancer research and feel comfortable in recommending this site which provides free mammograms for women with every click.
While there, check out the tabs across the top.
You can choose to support other organizations too including aminal rescue and the rainforest.
You can click on the pink ribbon to the left for a link to that site
and I encourage you to click every day.
