April 3 - Leslie will join fellow author Doug Cooper on the Sandusky Register's "Between the Lines," a prelude to the April 6 Read Local Book Fair at the Sandusky Library. Matt Westerhold, Managing Editor of the Sandusky Register, interviewed us!

April 6 - Leslie joined 30 other authors at the Sandusky Library for their Read Local Book Fair. We had a great time. I met some of my favorite local authors - Pete Grondin, Bob Adamov, Jim Semon and John Hildebrandt, amont others.

May 4 - Leslie will be the guest speaker at the Quincy Gillmore Civil War Roundtable of Lorain County, sharing her Civil War and the the Island slideshow.  ​Location: Social from 6:30-7:00 with presentation at 7:00. Lorain County Community College, main campus, room 114 Spitzer Conference Center.

May 18 - INTERNATIONAL MUSEUM DAY and Leslie will be around most of the day to autograph her books. Take advantage of Free Admission to the museum and discover how the Island got its electricity over the years. Our historic stone church will also be open. What a lot of fun. 

May  - ROAD SCHOLARS - Before this group starts their tour of the Island, Leslie shares her Historic Kelleys Island slideshow with them and then conducts a special tour of the history museum. 

June  - PORT CLINTON ARTS FESTIVAL at the Lakeview Park Pavilion, 1100 E. Perry St., Port Clinton OH. Island author Leslie Korenko joins other artists at this really large outdoor show. The park is nicely shaded and overlooks Lake Erie.

July 19-20 – ISLANDFEST! A big two-day event and Leslie will be there with her posters, t-shirts and books.

August 3 - ARTS & CRAFTS SHOW on Kelleys Island on the grounds of the History Museum. Artists, artisans, crafters and authors gather to display their often very unique talents and Leslie will be there all day (10-4).

August 9-10 – HOMECOMING, sponsored by the Kelleys Island Landowners Assoc. Located in the park on Addison St (a short walk from the ferry), this is a day of music, food, games and shopping. Stop by Leslie's tent and say HI!

September 7 - ISLAND WIDE YARD SALE & BUTTERFLY FESTIVAL Before embarking on the Island-wide yard sale, fortify yourself with a bake sale. Stop back at the history museum at 11 am for a presentation on the Monarch Butterfly. You can even adopt a butterfly!

September 14 - The Kelleys Island Wine Co. - Wine and Art Fest on Kelleys Island. From 12-7:00 pm on the grounds of the winery. This is a really fun event with food, music and, of course, loads of shopping.
